Truck System

The ATOMIC Truck System is a responsive, spring-loaded surfskate truck. It works by a spring inside it and by compression. It offers sharp turning and surf carving. The ATOMIC system is perfect for riders to practice surf maneuvers.

The SX 4.0 Truck System features a set of spherical wave cams that translate axle rotation into increased force by compressing a solid compression spring . It allows for tight turns and incredible speed when cruising.

Setup on a lower angle baseplate, the DANZA Truck is specially designed for longboard and danceboard. With the reduced angle, it lowers agility in favor of stability, make it moresuitable for freeriding and dancing.

Wheels Size

Another important component to consider when choosing your surfskate is the wheels. When figuring out the ideal wheel size, you'll need to consider the height (diameter) and width (contact patch).

AZTRON surfskates are mostly 65-70mm range, which is the ideal wheels for the surfskate boards.

Wheels Hardness

Wheel hardness (durometer) is also a major factor to consider. A harder wheel will slide out easier and a soft wheel means more grip. Surfskate wheels are usually from 75A-85A, AZTRON picks the hardness around 78A, which is fall in the middle.

Kicktail & Nose

The kicktail and nose are other important considerations in choosing the right surfskate.

Kicktails

Wheel hardness (durometer) is also a major factor to consider. A harder wheel will slide out easier and a soft wheel means more grip. Surfskate wheels are usually from 75A-85A, AZTRON picks the hardness around 78A, which is fall in the middle.

Much like the tail kick on a surfboard, a kicktail pad on surfskate gives your back foot something to push back against. And in turn, it allows the board to push you forward in the direction you're trying to maneuver.

The shortboard collection comes with a surfy style high tail for surfing like movement - such as sharp turning and cutbacks. The longboard range 31 to 40, features a medium raised tail, makes every piece of asphalt feel like wave. For STREET 31, FOREST 34 and OCEAN 36, it even comes with an tail kick pad for your performance moves.

The flat tail style for GRAVITY or WILD ROSE danceboard promises larger platform for cross steps and like walk up.

Concave

When choose the concave, if you want to do aggressive carves, more concave will help lock you in. Flatter decks offer less of that lock-in feel than are better suited for mellow carving.

Deep Concave with U-shape sideways helps keeping your feet lock and best for top speed and performing tricks.

Medium Concave is less stiff but absorbs more vibrations. They offer a smoother and more comfortable ride.

Mellow Concave is relatively flat. It makes easy footwork and is comfortable to ride, especially when cruising.
